A message for Our Patients:
On Friday, May 8th, 2020, the Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH) issued REVISED Guidance on Covid-19 for Dental Health Care Personnel in Pennsylvania in which the Governor and Secretary of State have their business closure orders issued on March 19th, 2020, as subsequently amended, to remove the prohibition on “elective” procedures. This guidance gives us more flexibility in treating dental needs. This does not mean a return to full scope dentistry for the time being. At this time, our office will have limited hours for emergency and urgent care only, as we work to gather the personal protective equipment (PPE) needed to provide treatment. Our team has been hard at work behind the scenes creating new systems and protocols that will follow newly issued CDC and OSHA Guidelines. We will also be implementing systems above and beyond these guidelines to maximize the safety of our patients and staff in our office. Over the course of the next few weeks, we will be prioritizing our patients with emergency and urgent dental needs first, and then begin to reach out to patients who were mid-treatment prior to the COVD-19 pandemic. As always, our doctors will remain on call for emergencies and are available for tele-dentistry consultations as needed. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time. Stay safe and keep flossing!!!!!
Dr. Hunter, Dr. Gadaleta, and Staff.
